A twisted and comedic fish-out-of-water story that follows a crash-landed alien named Dr. Harry (Alan Tudyk) who, after taking on the identity of a small-town Colorado doctor, slowly begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his secret mission of destruction on Earth. This leads him to ponder the question: “Are human beings actually worth saving instead of obliterating?”

Resident Alien is developed for SYFY by writer-showrunner Chris Sheridan, from the Dark Horse comic book. Joining Tudyk in the cast are Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds and Alice Wetterlund.

Harry and the residents of Patience, Colorado, will all returns for Season 2 Part 2 on August 10, 2022!

Forced to return to Earth to return a pesky stowaway, the misadventures of Harry Vanderspeigle in Patience, Colorado continues in Season Two of Resident Alien.

Alex Borstein (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) will be joining series stars Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund and Elizabeth Bowen this year, a reunion with Resident Alien executive producer Chris Sheridan from their collaboration on Fox's Family Guy.

Based on the Dark Horse comics, Resident Alien follows a crash-landed alien named Harry and his life on planet Earth. The fourth season starts with Harry and his baby Bridget stuck in prison on the Grey Moonbase, while a shape-shifting Alien called a Mantid has taken over his body on Earth passing himself off as the real Harry Vanderspeigle. Harry manages to escape the Greys and arrives back on Earth for a showdown with the Mantid Alien but soon finds he may not have what he needs to finish the job. Asta and D’arcy struggle to keep a secret from Ben and Kate, who are both desperate to find answers to what has been happening to them. Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv attempt to solve some mysterious deaths in Patience that Sheriff Mike is beginning to think aren’t caused by anything human.
